Information you give us

• Order and account information: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and the products you buy.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our third-party payment processors. We do not store your full card number.
• Communications: the information you include when you contact us by email, phone or the contact form.
• Email sign-up: your email address when you subscribe to our emails or claim our welcome offer.
• Reviews: the reviews you submit through our review form, with the details you provide. We never publish your email address.
• Giveaways: if you win one of our Instagram giveaways, the details needed to deliver your prize (name and U.S. shipping address).

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. We do this with cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• process, fulfill and ship your orders, and send order confirmations and shipping updates;
• provide customer service and respond to your requests;
• send marketing emails, including our welcome discount, if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• run and improve the Site, understand how visitors use it, and measure our marketing;
• detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site;

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• E-commerce platform: our store runs on Squarespace, which hosts the Site and processes orders on our behalf.
• Payment processors: to process your payment.
• Shipping carriers: UPS receives your name, shipping address and, where needed, your phone number, so it can deliver your order.
• Email marketing provider: our email service provider sends our emails on our behalf.
• Analytics and advertising providers: they help us understand how the Site is used and measure our marketing.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

Email marketing

If you subscribe to our emails (for example, to receive our welcome discount), we will send you news, product information and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by emailing cosmicousa@gmail.com. Even after you unsubscribe, we may still send transactional messages about your orders.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site and shopping cart working, remember your preferences, understand traffic and measure marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; if you disable them, some parts of the Site may not work properly. Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or opt out of marketing, by contacting us at cosmicousa@gmail.com. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. We will respond as required by that law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under the age required by applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or social media. Their own privacy policies apply, not ours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be posted on the Site.
